Daavlin 7 Series
The 7 Series offers features and benefits to make home phototherapy effective, safe and convenient. Lamp configurations are available in Narrow Band UVB, Broad Band UVB or UVA. This provides your prescribing Doctor a complete range of therapeutic options. A pin number on the key pad prevents unauthorized use, which is particularly important where children are present.
The 7 Series may be equipped with double door panels. These panels allow you to close the unit, keeping it safe and discreet when not in use. The doors may be equipped with additional lamps or specially designed reflectors to maximize UV light coverage.
7 Series clears your skin
- Light treatments are typically very brief, and occur about three times a week.
- Results vary, but psoriasis symptoms usually begin to show improvement in as little as 6 – 8 treatments; vitiligo commonly begins to re-pigment within about 8 weeks.

Optional Side-Panel Doors
Our 8, 10 and 12 lamp 7 Series units always include doors in order to provide additional space to house the larger number of lamps. However, on the 4 and 6 lamp units, these doors are optional. Rather than housing lamps, they provide reflective panels to direct the light inward during treatments. These will also allow you to close the unit, keeping it safe and discreet when not in use.
Ultraviolet Lamps
Lamp configurations are available in Narrow Band UVB or UVA and in quantities of 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 lamps per panel. This provides your prescribing physician a complete range of therapeutic options. Keep in mind, having more lamps per panel will increase the output of the device and give you a shorter treatment time!
Dosimeter Accuracy
When you select the Dosimetry controller for your 7 Series device, a special UV sensor is built in that measures the intensity of the light. This sensor will adjust the treatment time to compensate for any variation in output due to aging of the lamps or other factors. This system affords the most accurate delivery of ultraviolet light therapy available in a home phototherapy unit. Treatments are programmed in a few simple keystrokes. One touch operation allows you to conveniently begin, pause or resume any treatment.
Timer Simplicity
The simpler Flex Digital Timer control option allows treatments to be entered in units of time as prescribed by the physician. The state-of-the-art digital timer provides treatment duration accuracy.
Safety Lock-Out
A programmable lock-out feature prevents unauthorized use, which is particularly important when children are present. When activated, the user must enter a code to operate the unit. Home phototherapy must be prescribed by a qualified physician, but Daavlin’s home units are frequently insurance reimbursable.
