The following Terms & Conditions do not affect your statutory rights
Special Customer Terms & Conditions
Any customers orders containing special conditions will only be accepted by SCOTT Medical Ltd, on the understanding that they do not conflict or vary from our own Terms and Conditions of sale.
Carriage and Packing Charges
Carriage will be charged on all deliveries unless discount is offered on website or prior arrangements are agreed with SCOTT Medical Ltd in writing.
Minimum Order Value
The minimum order value for purchases is £15.00 excluding carriage & VAT charges. However lower value orders may be accepted and maybe subject to a possible admin charge.
Prices
Prices will be maintained according to current lists for as long as possible, but may be subject to change without prior notice. Prices charged will be those ruling at the date of dispatch and strictly net. SCOTT Medical Ltd reserve the right to remove from sale any item which is no longer available or where market forces make it no longer viable to supply. All transactions will be converted to sterling, exchange rate will be determined on the day of transaction, therefore final deduction may vary from prices advertised.
Value Added Tax
All prices quoted on the website are inclusive of VAT, which will be charged at the current rate. Some items may be VAT Exempt. Where required, such claims may require appropriate written certification at the time of order. Following Brexit VAT laws are changing and may vary.
Cancellation of Orders
Cancellation of orders must be notified to the company in writing and only with prior agreement of the company. Orders dispatched prior to cancellation maybe subject to a restock charge and carriage and postage will not be refunded. SCOTT Medical reserve the right to cancel and refund any order that is not viable to supply for any reason.
Interest Charges
The company reserves the right to charge interest on overdue credit accounts at a rate 3% above UK Bank base rates.
Reservation of Title
Ownership of goods and right of title to those goods will not pass to the purchaser until the invoice is paid in full and goods have been dispatched.
Settlement Terms
Where settlement terms have been agreed with a customer, then Payment terms on all orders processed on account are strictly 30 days from invoice date. Credit & Debit card payments are deducted at date of dispatch.
Delivery Dates
Where possible the company will provide the customers with estimated delivery times but cannot accept any liability for failure to achieve these delivery times. In many cases your delivery is in third party hands and we are not in control of their route or dispatch.
Copyright
The material that appears on our website is our property or the property of our product suppliers and or technology providers or their respective owners. We refuse permission for you to re-publish, alter, transmit or otherwise copy any material on the Website. You are exempt from this where you download information from our website for your own personal use. Except as otherwise expressly permitted under Copyright Law, no copying, re-distribution, re-transmission, publication or commercial exploitation of downloaded material will be permitted without our express permission and that of the Copyright owner.
Warranty & Service
All new SCOTT Medical Ltd products are subject to a minimum limited warranty/guarantee of one full year from date of delivery. Any claim must be submitted in writing whereupon at the company's option, goods may be repaired, replaced or a refund given dependant upon satisfactory evidence that the goods are faulty. No liability can be accepted for consequential damage, injury or loss of revenue arising from defective items. SCOTT Medical Ltd employs qualified and certified field service engineers to maintain all servicable products supplied by SCOTT Medical Ltd . Failing to follow manufacturers instructions may invalidate warranty.
Illustrations & Descriptions
Every care has been taken to ensure that descriptions and illustrations are accurate on our website, although this information is only issued as a guide to the identity of the goods and slight product changes may be made without prior notification to the customer. Colours depicted on website may not be exactly the same in person due to technical display and computer limitations.
Returns
We will gladly accept returns and issue full refunds (less shipping and handling), no questions asked. Some product exceptions are personal items such as internal probes, pre gel electrodes etc. Goods will not be accepted for credit unless previously agreed and they are returned with packing in resalable condition. Goods accepted by arrangement may be subject to a minimum restocking charge of 15%. Customers are liable for any carriage charges on goods returned for credit. Customers are Liable for the full value of goods being returned until received by SCOTT Medical Ltd. It is the Customers responsibility to take adequate steps to ensure goods are received by SCOTT Medical Ltd in good condition.
